Material Procurement Outsourcing

One contract, from mine to plant.

MPO is a concept we designed and modelled ourselves. Your plant outsources its complete procurement on a long-term contract at a fixed margin: sourcing, shipping, logistics and quality control included. Raw materials arrive on your production schedule.

  1. Sourcing

We secure the commodity from vetted producers against your specification.

  2. Quality check

Independent surveyors inspect and sample the cargo before it leaves origin.

  3. Loading

Our team oversees loading at the port. From this moment the risk sits with TASA.

  4. Ocean freight

Your cargo sails on a vessel we charter through our shipping alliances.

Trade on the terms that suit you

We charter our own vessels when a trade calls for it, and our shipping alliances give us competitive freight the rest of the time. We work on standard Incoterms 2020. Choose one to see where our responsibility ends and yours begins.

Free On Board

We deliver the cargo on board the vessel at the loading port. You book the freight and insurance, and the risk passes to you once the cargo is on board.

Quality you can check

Transport is where cargoes go wrong, so that is where we pay the most attention.

  • Independent inspection companies oversee loading and unloading
  • Our own team supervises shipping and cargo management
  • Products in storage are monitored continuously
